I was born and raised in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, surrounded by towering evergreen forests and a coastline that stretches endlessly. From the earliest days of my childhood, the water has been a constant presence in my life. My father was a fisherman, and I remember countless weekends spent on his weathered boat, exploring the rivers and bays that make this
region so unique. Those early days sparked a love for the water that would shape my life.

As I got older, my connection with the water deepened. At 18, I took the helm of my first boat and began exploring the diverse waterways of the Pacific Northwest. From the mighty Columbia River to the scenic tributaries, I was captivated by the unique personalities of each body of water.

For five years, I had the privilege of being a fishing guide, helping people of all kinds discover the joy of fishing. The satisfaction of teaching others to fish and seeing their excitement as they caught their first fish was one of the greatest rewards of my life.

Being part of the fishing community is a privilege. I witnessed firsthand how it brings people together, how it fosters camaraderie and connection. It isn’t just about catching fish; it is about sharing stories, creating memories, and building bonds that last a lifetime. It’s these moments that I treasure most, and it’s why I’ve remained so deeply committed to the waters of the Pacific Northwest.

After spending decades operating boats on the many rivers, lakes, and coastal waters of the region, I realized something — it wasn’t just about being out on the water for myself anymore. It was about helping others realize their dreams, too. I wanted to be part of their journey, offering the right boat that would fit their needs, desires, and passions. There’s something magical about being out on the water, and I am thrilled to provide others with the tools that help them experience it fully.

Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of working closely with Umpqua Marine & Boats, owning and operating several of their boats throughout this time. My experience with their products has allowed me to be deeply involved in numerous boat builds, from initial design to final sales. This hands-on involvement has given me a unique understanding of Umpqua’s craftsmanship, and I’ve seen firsthand how their boats consistently deliver quality and innovation on the water.

I now have the opportunity to provide high-quality boats that align with people’s wants, needs, and dreams. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that I’m helping others find the perfect vessel to carry them through their own adventures, whether they’re seeking a quiet day of fishing or an exciting exploration of new waters. In my many years on the water, I’ve learned that the boat is more than just a means to an end; it’s a key to a world of endless possibilities, a companion that will carry its owners to places both near and far.
